Spiral

There are approximately 600,000 people with gambling addictions in the UK, and yet only 5% ever go to treatment.

One of the biggest reasons for this is stigma - people tend to blame someone who has developed gambling problems, and view them as dangerous or untrustworthy.

Spiral is a visual metaphor for addiction, found in a campaign and interactive animation. The campaign uses real experiences of gambling harms in an effort to change societal perceptions and encourage affected individuals to seek support.

The 'Spiral' is an interactive animation made with processing, a creative code software. Try it!
